Music in our film

We chose one soundtrack to use throughout the film. It fits nicely with our film because it has a low beat which gives the effect that someone is stalking her. We edited the music so this beat started when the victim is putting the 'LOST CAT' poster up on the post. It then continues throughout the film as she is walking.
In the scenes where there is dialogue, we have faded out the music so the viewers listen to what is being said because it is a important part of the opening 2 minutes.
We faded the music back in when there is the conversation on the bridge because this carries on with the tension.
The ring tone of the phone starts suddenly and it is quite loud. This adds to the effect because your not expecting a phone call and when it rings quite loudly, the viewers automatically think something bad is going to happen because they have already seen the stalker at the end of the bridge.
