(Main character walks in the door)

Parent: Is that you Lucy?
Lucy (main character): Yeah
Parent: Are you going to look for____ (cats name)?
Lucy: Yeah in a minute
(Main character is getting coat)
Lucy: Bye
Parents: Bye

The opening to our film will not have much dialogue as it will create more tension for the audience because they do not know what is going to happen.

Tyhis will show a closeup shot of the characters eyes to show her fear.

This will be a long shot of the character walking around the woods looking for the rustling noise continued.

This shot will show the character looking around whilst walking in the woods. It will be an over the shoulder shot and the only light source will be her torch. She is looking around to try and find where the rustling is coming from.

This shot will be a zooming shot of the rustling hedge. The camera will zoom intio the hedge and woods to make the audience more tense.

This shot will be a low angle shot of the feet walking back down the street. We will include a graphic match so it will fade out with the feet walking on Ashtead Common.

This shot is an over the shoulder shot of the main character and her dad having a short conversation. It will show the main characters back and her fathers face. The main characters dad will ask if shes going to look for her cat and she will respond.

This will be a long shot/ establishing shot of the character entering her house. This shows where she is and that it is a house she is entering and not just a building. The audience will be able to identify the surroundings.

This will be a low angle shot of the characters feet walking back home after putting the poster on a post. We will then use panning to show where the character is walking. This is one of the first bits of our opening scene.

This shot will be of the character putting up a 'LOST CAT' poster onto a post before they go home. The character has lost their cat and is putting up this poster to try and find it. This will be a medium shot so that the audience can identify what is missing,then we will use a zooming shot and we will zoom in to the poster so the audience can get a better look at the detail.
